About The Federal Policy Team

The Federal Disability Policy team focuses its research agenda on projects that are of broad interest to disability policy in all facets of Canadian life. This includes developing the foundational research methodologies for all CDPA research, projects related to accessibility, and projects related to policies that are within Federal jurisdiction in Canada. As the coordinating hub of the CDPA, the Federal Disability Policy Team also partners with other CDPA teams and Disability Organizations to complete projects in their area of expertise.

The team is lead by Dr Mary Ann McColl of Queen’s University, and supported by Lynn Roberts (Administrative and Project Coordinator), and includes research partners such as Bill Adair, Executive Director of the Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario, Alice Aiken co-lead of the Health Services Team, and Dave Shannon co-lead of the Citizenship team.
