The Education Team focuses its research agenda on projects related to evaluating the state of inclusive education in Canadian provinces, assessing gaps between official policies and practices in the classroom, and collaborative knowledge mobilization initiatives that seek to narrow these gaps between policy and practice. The team is lead by Dr. Vianne Timmons , President of the University of Regina, Scott Thompson of the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina and Gordon Porter, President of Inclusive Education Canada. The team also includes members such as Wanda Lyons (University of Regina), Zana Lutfiyya (University of Manitoba), Noella Piquette-Tomei (University Lethbridge) and Nick Dube (University of Regina). The Education team also works closely with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and the Council of Ministers of Education.
