The Citizenship Team focuses its research agenda on projects related to enhancing participation in all facets of society for persons with a disability including sport and recreation activities, electoral participation and a robust human rights framework. The team is lead by Dr Audrey Kobayashi of Queen’s University and David Shannon of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, and includes members such as Max Beck (Easter Seals), Mary Ann McColl (Queen’s) and many others. The Employment Team also partners with other CDPA teams and Disability Organizations to complete projects in their area of expertise.
