The first edition of the of the policy scan was produced 5 years ago and has since been one of the most visited documents on the Canadian Disability Policy Alliance website. The second edition has been updated for the next phase of our work as an Alliance. It reminds us how much work needs to be done. Since there is no explicit national disability policy in Canada, the purpose of the research in this second edition is to produce a comprehensive survey of various disability policies in Canada. Hopefully, these policies will effect community integration for people with disabilities.
