Who We Are

The Canadian Disability Policy Alliance is a national collaboration of disability researchers, advocates, and policy-makers, aimed at creating and mobilizing knowledge to enhance disability policy in Canada.

Mary Ann McColl, PhD, MTS

Dr. Mary Ann McColl is the Academic Lead for the Canadian Disability Policy Alliance.

She is also a Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy and the Department of Public Health Sciences, and Associate Director of the Centre for Health Services & Policy Research, at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. McColl is author of 16 books, including:

Shannon Jones, MHSc 

Shannon is the Administrative and Project Coordinator for the Canadian Disability Policy Alliance.

Shannon has extensive experience and education in disability management.  Shannon supports Dr. McColl, coordinates CDPA projects, works out of the Centre for Health Service & Policy Research, at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario Canada.
